On arrive au Mont, et j'ai toujours ma patte folle qui me fait mal. On emprunte un "trail" pour voir de plus près le mont. A vrai dire, ça ressemble fortement aux Alpes, mais c'est très joli. Par deux fois nous croisons des cerfs et des faons. Quels beaux Bambis! Au retour, nous photographons un barrage qu'Aurélia avait repéré, mais moins beau que le Hoover Dam de Las Vegas pour ce qui ont suivi le blog depuis le début.
Retour chez Matt pour boucler nos sacs, quelques aux revoirs et nous partons rejoindre Ryan et sa femme Maya (producteur du dernier album de Hopper) au resto Flowers du quartier étudiant U District. Les retrouvailles sont plaisantes, et je somme Ryan de revenir faire un tour à Paris. Ryan nous propose de nous rendre à un concert dans une House Party (concert à l'arrachée dans une maison avec les moyens du bord). Il s'agit du groupe Holy Ghost Revival, dernièrement signés chez Sony Uk, de jeunes mecs sympathiques en pantalon moulant et mèche rebelle. Ryan nous présente le D.A, celui qui a signé les Strokes te Libertines,un anglais péroxydé qui à l'air de bien s'amuser parmi la jeunesse ambiante. Le son est horrible, il n'y a pas de lumière, ils sont jeunes et rebelles, et les flics débarquent. Ce sera moins de bruit, rangement de l'alcool (beaucoup de gens de moins de 21 ans) et clopes dans l'arrière cour. Nous tombons de fatigue et n'avons même pas le temps de voir les Holy Ghost, que je trouvais pas mal sur disque. Les autres groupes qui joueront ce soir là seront juste une simple copie de ce qui se fait à Londres et Paris, merci les jeans moulants.
On repart se coucher chez Lucas dans le salon...Dur dur la vie de Globe trotter!
